Done for a Zelda-themed art contest with friends. :]
Really excited about the upcoming Zelda game, Skyward Sword. And I really love Debbie's character! He's so delightfully fruity!

I wanted to draw him in a somewhat more statue-esque, realistic way, but made him more broad and muscled to give him more of a striking presence.
I left out the yellow diamonds on his inner cape and the tear on his cheek, as I thought so many diamonds made the drawing look somewhat crowded.

I know it's not that similar to the game version, but it's not supposed to be - it's a very different take/perspective on his design.

Drawn with pencils and coloured in gimp.
